Abdul Ghafoor Khan Durrani ((パシュトー語: عبدالغفور خان درانی )) (born 1910, date of death is 20 February 2000) was born in Quetta Balochistan British India, into the Bamizai Popalzai tribe, a sub clan of Durrani (Abdali) Pashtun of Quetta.
==Political career==
Abdul Ghafoor Khan Durrani was chief of Popalzai Durrani tribe in Balochistan and played a significant role in the Pakistan movement at the side of Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. Durrani, nicknamed "Khan Agha", brought Shahzada Rehmatullah Khan Saddozai chief of Sadozai Durrani tribe of Balochistan into Muslim League for an important role in Pakistan Independence movement. In November 1959 the Chairmen of all Union Committees within Quetta city became members of the Quetta Municipal Committee and Khan Abdul Ghafoor Khan Durrani was elected its 1st Vice Chairman, whereas the Quetta Political Agent remained its Chairman.〔http://gjtmap-balochistan.org/html/quetta_instutional_history.html〕
He has also been General Secretary of Anjuman e Islamia Quetta for a long time and worked for the betterment of the institutions being run under said Anjuman.
